Game Results

Game 1 – GAC 48 Stone Mountain 26   
The 2013 season got off to a strong start as the Spartans beat Stone Mountain at Halford Stadium. The win was fueled by a strong offensive performance with over 550 yards. 

Game 2 – GAC 41 Savannah 6
The Spartan Nation took to the road and traveled to Savannah for the second game of the year. The defense set the pace for the night by playing fast and physical, leading a victory over the host Blue Jackets.

Game 3 – GAC 56 Apalachee 14
In front of a large Spartan Stadium crowd, GAC scored early and often against the Apalachee Wildcats. Seven different players scored touchdowns as the Spartans improved to 3-0.

Game 4 - GAC 45 Chamblee 0
Fueled by a dominant defensive performance, the Spartans handled visiting Chamblee 45-0 to move to 4-0.

Game 5 - GAC 67 Howard 20
Coming of a bye week, the Spartans used a true team to beat Howard as GAC scored a Touchdown in six different ways

Game 6 - GAC 56 Thomson 12
In a trip to the historic Brickyard, GAC used explosive plays on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams to build a 42-6 halftime lead en route to a strong win over Thomson. Five different players scored for the Spartans.

Game 7 - GAC 49 Westminster 3
A strong defensive performance and a few big offensive plays enabled the Spartans to start the Region 6-AA schedule with a victory over the Westminster Wildcats.

Game 8 - GAC 52 Hapeville Charter 7
On Homecoming, the Spartans earned a region win over Hapeville. The defense did not allow a passing yard and six different players scored a touchdown.

Game 9 - GAC 42 Wesleyan 7
The Spartans used a balanced offensive effort to open a 35-7 halftime lead on the way to another region victory over crosstown rival Wesleyan.

Game 10 - GAC 14 Lovett 17
In a hard-fought Region championship battle, the Spartans turned the ball over five times and lost to Lovett 17-14.

Game 1 of State Playoffs - GAC 34 Rabun County 7
Led by another strong defensive effort and a strong rushing attack, the Spartans opened the GHSA playoffs with a solid 34-7 win over Rabun County.

Team News

Britt Lee, Parker Polhill, Mitchell Shea and Rafe Chapple were honored by the Gwinnett County Touchdown Club as Players of the Month for September.

Britt Lee was recognized as The Touchdown Club of Atlanta-National Football Foundation Chapter Lineman of the Week.

Chris Williams, Mac Sullivan, David Elrod and Ross Wood were honored by the Gwinnett County Touchdown Club as Players of the Month for October.
