Patrons of the Arts is the "booster club" parent organization for GAC Fine Arts programs - supporting Performing Arts, Visual Arts, School of Ballet and School of Music. We encourage and advance arts programs through efforts to improve facilities and equipment necessary to an excellent Fine Arts program.  Whether our students are in tutus, tuxedos or togas, Patrons is here to serve them.

Funds raised through Patrons memberships and annual events like the Artist Extravaganza, benefit GAC's capital campaigns and fulfill specific needs requested by Fine Arts teachers.  Past Patrons mini-grants have supported:
  • Dance studio mirrors and ballet bars
  • Cameras and photography gear
  • Theatre scaffolding
  • Canvas paint and aprons
  • Sheet music and instrument purchases
  • Camp and travel funding

Patrons of the Arts Memberships 

Ninety-eight percent (98%) of all GAC students have participated in a Fine Arts program.  Yet just 30% of GAC families are Patrons members.  Make a difference - join Patrons today!  We offer three membership levels, each recognized with fun and useful gifts:

$100 - Receive 3 Patrons savings cards PLUS a Patrons thermos set
Standing Ovation Level

GAC's faculty and staff are also invited to join Patrons at a special Staff Membership Level.

Make a difference and become a Patrons volunteer!  There are many opportunities to support the Patrons mission.  Here are a few events at which your assistance would be invaluable.

Fine Arts Teacher Appreciation Luncheon - February
Donate a dish or lend a hand in setup and food service.

Artist Extravaganza - March
Several volunteers needed to setup/tear down gallery displays, cashiers, artist support, and hospitality.

Fine Arts Christmas Decoration - December
Help deck the halls and trim trees in the Williams Fine Arts Center.

Throughout the School Year
Communications - craft promotions and informational materials
Member Support - respond to member inquiries, assist with event planning
Artist Extravaganza Scouting & Acquisition - recommend artists and assist in artist selection

The Annual Artist Extravaganza is the Patrons of the Arts premier fundraising event.  Featuring original works crafted by local artists, a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and more for sale to benefit the Fine Arts programs at GAC.
